We just finished a small shoot for the Hyundai Blue Link App. I’ve also been quite busy cutting a number of other Hyundai projects for Orange, and am in pre-pro for what should be an interesting project in London (slated to shoot in February) that is NDA’d to the hilt, so I have to leave it at that.
On our Blue Link shoot I was confronted with something I have not had to deal with in a long time... a temperamental actor. To be more specific, a temperamental hand model! He became very flustered, and threw what I can only describe as “a fit”. He felt he was being disrespected, talked “at” etc. You’ll have to trust me when I say this was not the case, and I did not see this coming at all. He fired no warning shots, just became incredibly frustrated and threatened to leave! Eventually he did calm down, apologized, and we got through the shoot. Of course at one point, while our agency producer was talking him off the ledge, I have to admit I was looking at my hands and thinking “With a little makeup, it just might work”. Good times.
