THE BANDIT HOUND

Production has just started on “The Bandit Hound” featuring Joe Flanagan, Catherine Bell, Judd Nelson, Lou Ferrigno, and Paul Sorvino that I will be editing over the next couple of months.  Although I’ve cut a million commercials, music videos, some pilots and a concert film, this would be the first movie I’ve edited and another step into longer format projects.  This film is being directed by long time friend and collaborator Michelle Danner.  I studied with Michelle as an actor years ago in an effort to sharpen my directing skills as I made the transition from editor to director.  Over time I found myself shooting/editing shorts to promote what was then the Larry Moss Studio... this led to cutting movie trailers for her first two features, and now here we are.

The Bandit Hound logline: A lovable dog named Bandit is trained to pull off bank robberies, but after a heist gone wrong he’s rescued by a down on her luck single mom and her son. When he starts stealing cash to help his adopted family, Bandit unwittingly sets them on a collision course with his dangerous ex-partners.

In addition to this new creative adventure, we are in pre-production for a project in Manchester England.  Also a directing/editing collaboration with Ten Eighty Inc. in Detroit for a car campaign looks promising enough to actually blog about!  Details to follow...
