Nothing like a night shoot in Charlotte this time of year. I just returned from directing a North Carolina Educational Lottery commercial for the Trone agency via my great friends at BLVD Films. We had a little scare with the parking lot lights... scheduled to go out at 11:30pm we had planned to wait that late so we could basically light the scene from scratch ourselves. Well, they didn’t go out... and as our location manager was scrambling to find a solution, they finally tripped off at midnight. We took a deep breath and marched forward... it’s always something!
Overall It’s subtle comedy with some charm. I will be posting a link shortly.- sy
