The “Conference Call”, a short film I wrote/ directed/ edited about 2 years ago, is still going strong. It’s an ad biz parody about how a director (Gordon Scott) prepares for the infamous conference call with an agency. This time it was screened at an event called Mediabistro.com in New York City. I wasn’t there, but I hear it went over well. Turns out Ridley Scott was a speaker at this event, and I can only wonder if he thought my character was inspired by the many Scott directors in town. Truth is, my middle name is Gordon... first name Scott, so there you go.
Might do a follow up short called “the treatment”… we’ll see.
